We are currently recruiting for an experienced Land and Measured Building surveyor and junior surveyor/survey assistant to join our expanding survey division. The positions will largely focus on 3D measured surveys for architectural and engineering projects but will also include topographic survey.
Ideally the candidate for position of Surveyor should have at least 1 years continuous post graduate experience on a wide range of projects with a specific focus on producing high quality accurate surveys delivered to tight deadlines. The candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in the use of a wide range of survey instrumentation, along with the post processing skills required to produce a detailed final 2D / 3D survey. Experience of producing high quality survey output in CAD format is also essential.
The candidate for position of junior surveyor/survey assistant should ideally have some placement experience of working within a construction environment with some hands on experience with survey technologies, i.e. total station / gps and post survey output, i.e AutoCAD
Payscale:
Junior / Survey Assistant (less than 6 months experience): £22360 - 26000
Surveyor Position: £28000- £34000 p.a /depending upon experience

- BTEC/HNC/Hons Degree in construction built environment or degree in Geomatics
- A committed attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast paced industry
- Ability to use your own initiative with good problem solving skills.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and also indepentantly when required.
- Have pride for high quality survey work.
- Effective communication skills and good time keeping
- Freedom to travel over the whole of Ireland/UK with some overnight stays
- Experience using Leica survey equipment and processing software, i.e. Leica Total Stations, Leica RTC360/P40 laser scanners, Leica Cyclone/Register360 Processing software, Leica Cloudworx
- Experience using LSS Survey software (LSS Vista + Point Cloud) for production of topographic and measured building surveys and 3D output
- Willingness to carry out both field based and office based work including production of survey output in CAD format
- Interest in helping growing the business and developing new skills continuous professional development
